Storytellers from the four corners of the globe will converge on Montréal for the 10th edition of the Québec Intercultural Storytelling Festival, which takes place October 16 to 25, 2009. Founded in 1993 and directed by storyteller Marc Laberge, the Festival puts on hundred of events, in English and in French, celebrating the richness and diversity of the storytelling tradition. |

Toby Kinsella is a multi-instrumentalist with over 25 years experience as a performer. He plays instruments from around the world, tells stories, sings songs, and delights children with his show Musical Stories. Juggling, puppets, and masks are also used to add visual effects to this very exciting interactive show.

Tony Montague England
This bilingual English-born storyteller is drawn to ancient and sacred themes common to all cultures, finding his inspiration in both mythology and mysticism. Tony Montague is well known for his original adaptations of ancient English ballads: he now lives in Vancouver and is active in the West Coast Storytellers’ Guild.?

Dan Yashinsky Ontario
"For the love of stories being told, I became a storyteller." Dan Yashinsky comes from Ontario, with stories taken from two of his own story books: Tales for an Unknown City and Next Teller. He also presents a new show inspired by the Arabian Nights called The Storyteller at Fault.
