Journeys unfold with every story told by Montreal storyteller Selina Eisenberg Smith. Her storytelling delights toddlers, children, adolescents, and the young-at-heart of all ages in Canada and the US. Selina skillfully adapts stories to suit her audiences, and draws them in from beginning to end. In May 2013, she toured Alberta as the featured storyteller on the TD Canada Children’s Book Tour. She was featured at the Storytellers of Canada 2014 P.E.I. Conference with a ‘Roots Tale’ of how her grandfather came to Canada from Eastern Europe and has told the story at the Montreal Intercultural Festival 2015 in “The Ties That Bind Us” and again in Ottawa in a solo show at the Tea Party in the Byward Market. In Fall 2015, Eisenberg was also a feature teller at the Ottawa Children’s Storytelling Festival including presenting a workshop on storytelling for children 7-10 years of age, featured at the Centaur Theatre Children’s Series, and a presenter at Limmud Ottawa.
